About Us: Patricia Frame Bio
Patricia Frame is an experienced management consultant, speaker and author on human capital issues. An Air Force veteran and Wharton MBA, she began her civilian career working with large corporations as an OD consultant with A.T. Kearney and at General Electric. Prior to establishing SHR, she developed Human Resource functions for several high-growth, high-tech companies. She has extensive experience in organization development, board development, talent management, process restructuring for productivity, compensation, training, and the human capital aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She has consulted for technology-based organizations, associations, NGOs, non-profits, and service businesses. Patricia has advised senior management and boards of directors on a wide range of human capital and strategic planning issues. She is known for her ability to address organizational goals and issues effectively and to create human resource management practices which support these goals without excessive administrivia. Ms. Frame founded Strategies for Human Resources in 1993 as a consulting firm specializing in meeting the human resources needs of small to mid-size organizations. This interest grew out of her experiences directing human resources and organization capacity development at several rapidly growing mid-size organizations. She was Director of Human Resources for Best! Programs, a private PC business applications software company, during a period of significant acquisition activities. She established the human resources function for Maxwell Online, Inc., a private international software and online services firm created from competing companies and led strategic planning and organization development activities to achieve a successful integration following significant difficulties. At Software AG of North America, Inc., she created a pro-active human resources function for this public, high-growth, systems software company which helped them double in size in under three years. At General Electric, Patricia held strategic HR planning, organization development, and employee relations management positions. She was a Consultant in the organization development and compensation practices with management consultants A. T. Kearney, Inc. She began her career as a Personnel Officer in the United States Air Force and served in the US, Germany, and Asia. Patricia has been a seminar leader and guest speaker for a wide range of professional conferences including: ASTD 2009 International Conference, Society for Scholarly Publishing, Special Libraries Association, Top Management Roundtable, Help Desk Institute, Idealist Nonprofit Human Resource Conference, and 2nd Annual GrowSmartBiz Conference.
